You need new drivers for your wireless network card. Go to Device Manager, right-click on your wireless network card and choose Uninstall, when you restart your Pc it should automatically be reinstalled again, If not, go to the Pc manufacture’s website and download a new driver software. If you have a custom built Pc or don’t know which manufacturer to look for, search for WiFi drivers for Windows 8.1 on Google. If you still can’t find the right driver, you can use Radarsync to search and download drivers for free.

Disable your antivirus program and see if your internet connection starts now, many times security programs gives us problems when it block programs and connections it should not block. If this is the case, install another antivirus program, never run your Pc without online security.
You can unplug your router and wait a minute and see if that helps. You can also reset your router to its factory settings. This is of course the last resort when nothing else works because resetting your router will terminate all your settings and you will have to configure your router again. This can help your WiFi connection problems. If you still can’t connect to the internet, you could have hardware problems with your WiFi card.
